Middle School Faith Formation
Weekly assignments will be posted with "due" dates indicated.  Assignments fall into three main categories:
Learn (Week 1):  The theme for the month will be introduced and there will be some reading, writing, and reflection during this week.
Live (Week 2):  Students will reflect upon how they can put what they have learned into action in their daily lives. Students will be given a choice of assignments and you can just choose one!
Love (Week 3): Students WILL put their faith into action by performing service activities either during the in-person class time or at home.

Handing in assignments, there are a few choices:
For online activities, students can print the sheets, complete them at home and return them to their FF teacher during the monthly "in-person" class.  (I would recommend setting up a folder for your FF work)
OR
Students can email me completed assignments (tbrysgel@stjfchurch.org) and/or take a picture of their completed project (for example a craft project) and text picture to me at 860-830-2194.

As we journey down this new path together, I appreciate your feedback as to how we can make this process easier. Things may change along the way as we all adapt and adjust!
Please listen to the Catholic Sprouts Podcast about Palm Sunday and watch the short video about Holy Week . Then click below for the weekly assignments.

In class this month, we will walk through the Stations of the Cross : praying and discussing the events that happened on Christs last day: His sacrifice and passion. .

We will also put our LOVE into action for our town and community by making "Easter egg" signs  with messages of  love, hope and faith that will be dispersed throughout town for a town wide "Egg" Hunt.
Faith is taking the first step even when you do not see the whole staircase.
